Join our steering committee
The Steering Committee is a group composed of ~10-20 community members that provides strategic direction for the Collective Impact initiative and champions its work. Steering Committee Members are volunteers who participate in monthly Steering Committee Meetings. Commitment is estimated around 5 hours/month.
Key responsibilities for the Steering Committee include providing guidance, working closely with the support team, reviewing data, developing a learning agenda, assigning work to and engaging Action Teams, and ensuring accountability for the activities of the Action Teams.

- Visionaries - Those who will push the Steering Committee and its network to move with speed and scale.
- Subject-Matter and Content Experts - Those with a diverse set of expertise on the issues/opportunities addressed by the KCI.
Become an Action Team member
Our Action Teams are sub-groups composed of ~8-15 members, that are focused on a specific initiative or area of work.
Key responsibilities for the Action Team include developing, adapting, and overseeing an action plan, designing and implementing collaborative projects and initiatives, designing evaluation and assessment processes for their activities, creating ways to receive feedback and guidance from the community in general. Being an Action Team Member is a more involved way of volunteering with KCI. Action Team members participate in meetings approximately every 2-4 weeks and commitment ranges from 10-15 hours a month.
